207 Woodworks builds custom hardwood dining tables, farmhouse tables, coffee tables, console tables, dry bars, and shelving — all made to order. Common woods include walnut, white oak, maple, reclaimed oak, hickory, pine, and others. If you have a specific vision, just ask.
How long does a custom piece take to build?
Most pieces are completed in 6–10 weeks depending on complexity, materials, and current order volume. Jonathan will give you a realistic timeline in your quote. Rush timelines can sometimes be accommodated — just mention it in your request.
What does a custom table cost?
Pricing depends on the wood species, size, finish, and design complexity. Dining tables typically range from $1000–$3,500+. Coffee tables start around $500. You'll receive a detailed quote before committing to anything — no surprise charges.
Do you ship outside of Maine?
Yes — 207 Woodworks ships across the continental United States. Smaller pieces typically ship via UPS or FedEx freight. Larger dining tables are shipped via white-glove LTL freight. Shipping costs will be included in your quote.
Can I see examples of your work before ordering?
Absolutely. Browse the portfolio on this page and the 207 Woodworks Etsy shop for photos of completed pieces. You're also welcome to ask Jonathan for photos of specific wood species or finish samples before placing your order.
What wood species do you recommend for a dining table?
Walnut is a top choice for its rich color and durability. White oak offers a warm, golden tone that's incredibly hard-wearing. Maple is a lighter, more budget-friendly option. Reclaimed oak adds character and history. Jonathan is happy to talk through the options for your specific space and lifestyle.
Is there a deposit required to start my project?
Once you've agreed to a quote, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your build slot and purchase materials. The remaining balance is due at delivery/shipping. All transactions are handled securely and Jonathan will walk you through the process.
