Meet the maker behind 207 Woodworks

Jonathan Stickney started 207 Woodworks in 2019. The same person who answers an inquiry chooses the boards, builds the furniture, and coordinates delivery.

How Jonathan approaches a commission

The name comes from Maine’s area code. Jonathan works from a small shop in Raymond and builds furniture for homes across Maine and New England.

Before choosing a board, Jonathan needs to know the available space, the chairs that will stay, and how many seats are needed most days. Those details determine the table's length, base, and overhang before the first cut.

Once the dimensions, wood, finish, and timing are settled, Jonathan builds the furniture himself. For local commissions, he coordinates delivery and final placement directly with the client.
